Doing a geography exam in 2 months and I’m trying to learn about plate boundaries. Which type of boundaries (collision, conservative, destructive and constructive), cause earthquakes or volcanoes? I know they each cause at least one, but i don’t know which boundaries cause which natural disasters? Also, if i get a question in my exam which says ‘how are earthquakes formed?’ then which boundary do i talk about? I would automatically think conservative but can I explain how they are formed at other boundaries too? Finallly, how are volcanoes or earthquakes caused at each of these boundaries? Thanks
It’s not all of them according to what i’ve read/seen. Apparently collision boundaries don’t cause volcanoes or conservative either.
Chosen Answer:
-volcanoes located both along convergent zones and divergent zones boundaries.
-all plate boundaries can cause earthquakes
